360x360 Flash Virtual Tours

Currently we recommend this option of virtual tours for tourism establishments. It is the latest flash based virtual tour technology. An added feature is that the virtual tour can be made full screen at the touch of a button, very cool! It is universally viewable across all Internet browsers on both Macintosh and PC computers. Most people have flash installed already but if not it is installed on demand with a click of a button. 360x360 Java Virtual Tours

Java based virtual tours are smoother in their delivery of virtual tour images than the flash based counterparts. However many people do not have Java  installed and the download and installation process can be a little prohibitive.  We recommend using the flash based alternative unless you are using the virtual tours internally and you prefer the functionality of the Java tours. Panoramic Flash Virtual Tours   These tours are fast, effective. They do not include the entire celing and floor but they do display the environment clearly. They are quick for users to download and view. This virtual tour is very popular in the real estate sector as generally the users are previewing a number of different properties. However they do not correct lens distortion and this can be a problem for some, however we do not see it as a significant problem at all. Panoramic Java Warp Virtual Tours

Flash Presentations

Franschoek Country Guest House - Flash Presentation   This presentation was created for laptop and projector presentations. It aids the owner in visually presenting the establishment to delegates, tour operators and at tourism conferences. To view please click on the image, save the zip file it to your hard drive, unzip the files and run Intro.exe. Methods and Techniques

There is an art to capturing a space photographically. Ideally a person should be able to imagine themselves using the space visually presented by photographs. We use a very modern technique that uses multiple exposures to capture the right light for each part of the photograph. 1. Multiple shots are taken at different exposures from exactly the same place. When processing we use the best part of each image to create a single image filled with colour and detail. 2. See the three images below: (A) is over exposed, showing up finer details. (B) is an even shot and (C) is the darkest, giving detail for views and especially though windows which would usually be very difficult if overlays were not taken.     3. We process these images into a single final image. All the best parts are taken and incorporated into one. After a shoot we send you an online low res gallery of the photographs. We display 1 shot of each image in the gallery. You select based on composition, obviously not on brightness, contrast or colour. We then process each of your selected images into one final image. We deliver another online gallery of the final images for approval and payment. Once payment has been received, the high resolutions photographs are made available for you to pick up or they are delivered via courier on CD.
